What is Sustainable Eating?
Sustainable eating means Eating Whole, Organic, Local, Fair Trade Food.
What are Whole Foods?
Whole foods are foods that have not been processed or refined. They do not contain additives or preservatives and generally do not contain salt, added sugar, fats, and carbohydrates. Whole foods include vegetables, fruits, beans, and whole grains.
Benefits of eating whole foods include more fibre in your diet, more complex nutrients, less additives and preservatives, and long term protection against diseases such as cancer.
